On Thursday, July 10, 2014, M. Patricia Fuegen passed away at age 84.
Patricia was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA and was a member of the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Joseph in Baden, PA from 1948 to 1981, she taught elementary school students in Pittsburgh, Altoona, Johnstown, Ebinsburgh, and Gallitzin.
Patricia graduated from St. Francis College with a B.S. in science and Duquesne University with a M.A. in elementary administration. She served as principle at St. John’s in Lakemont, PA for seven years. After leaving the community, she married Glenn W. Fuegen in 1983 and worked at Transcomp, Inc. until retirement in 1998. She was an active member of St. Irenaeus parish in Oakmont, PA being a member of both adult choir and funeral choir. Her husband, Glenn, of Oakmont, PA, three brothers, Matthew, Richard and Martin Schultz of Gibsonia, PA, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and grandnieces and nephews survive her. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Charles Schultz.

Friends and family will be received in the English Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 378 Maryland Avenue, Oakmont, PA, 15139, on Sunday, July, 13, 2014, from 2-4 & 6-8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m., Monday in St. Irenaeus Roman Catholic Church, with interment immediately following at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Penn Hills.
