Robert R. Baratta, 85 of Verona, passed away on Monday, February 24, 2014, at the age of 85.
Robert was the beloved husband for 63 years of Catherine (Weimerskirch) Baratta; loving father of Deborah J. (Andrew) Kost, Donna L. (Chuck) Hostler, and Robert E. “Bobby” Baratta; grandfather of David Kost, Sarah (Tom) Everest, Katie and Kevin Hostler; great-grandfather of Andrew Everest; dear brother of Rose Grande and the late Edward and Fred Baratta.
Mr. Baratta was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Verona, retired with 38 years of service with the Oakmont Water Authority and was an avid outdoorsman.

Friends and relatives will be received on Thursday, February 27, 2014 from 2-9 p.m. at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION & ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., 421 Allegheny Avenue, Oakmont. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, February 28, 2014 at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Verona.
In Lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 825 Second St. Verona, 15147 or a charity of one’s choice.
