Ruth E. Adams, of Verona, passed away, at the age of 92, on Friday, February 21, 2014.
Ruth was the beloved wife of the late Samuel O. Adams, Sr.; loving mother of Samuel (Toni) Adams, Jr.; grandmother of Samuel (Tammy) Adams, IV, Christina (Essex) Law, Zachary, and Joshua Adams; great-grandmother of Aaron, Brynn, and Cade Law, Alexandria, Anastasia, Aidan, Landon, London, and Quinn Adams. She is also survived by Clair (the late Jill) Maxwell who was like a son to Ruth and her late husband, Sam.
Ruth was an active member of Verona Presbyterian Church where she was a past deacon and Nursery School Teacher. She was also a member of the Spade and Trowel Garden Club.

Friends and relatives will be received on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION & ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., 421 Allegheny Avenue, Oakmont. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2014, 11 a.m. in the Verona Presbyterian Church. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET DIRECTLY AT CHURCH. Private Interment will follow in Plum Creek Cemetery, next to her husband Sam.
