Ruth S. Swank, 93 of Oakmont (formerly of Haddon Twp., New Jersey) passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2013, at the age of 93.
Ruth was the beloved wife of the late Philip E. Swank; loving mother of Lynn S. (John) Hohman, Nancy R. Swank, and Adele S. (Bill) Duffy; dear grandmother of Kyle and Samantha Bozarth, Ryan, Scott, and Colleen Duffy; sister of the late John D. Scott, Jr., Elizabeth Scott (Walter) Grome, Thelma Scott (Chris) Seibert, and Jeanne Scott Horner; sister-in-law of Lillie Scott and David Horner. She is also survived by her loving Pittsburgh family and friends, nieces, and nephews.
Ruth was a member of First Baptist Church in Collingswood, New Jersey, and Orchard Hill Church in Wexford.

Friends and relatives will be received at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION & ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., 421 Allegheny Avenue, Oakmont on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 from 6-9 p.m. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 29, 2013, 10:30 a.m. at Orchard Hill Church, 2551 Brandt School Road, Wexford, 15090.
