Obituary - Stella (Tsounos) Marangoni

Stella (Tsounos) Marangoni, of Oakmont, passed away on Saturday, December 07, 2013, at the age of 93. 

Stella was the beloved wife of the late George V. Marangoni; dear sister-in-law of Mary Tsounos and Stella Thomas; loving aunt of Andrew (Julie) Tsounos, Alan (Joy) Tsounos, Dennis (Marcia) Thomas and Gary (Crystal) Thomas.  She is also survived by multiple great nieces and nephews. 

Stella was an avid golfer and a member of both the River Forest and Oakmont East Ladies Golf League where she continued to play well into her 80’s.  She was also a lifelong Pittsburgh Steelers fan and enjoyed cheering her team on at each game. 

Friends will be received Monday 2-4 & 6-8 pm in the English Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 378 Maryland Avenue, Oakmont, PA 15139 where a Trisagion Service will be held at 7 pm.  A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, at 10:30 am in the Dormition of the Theotokos Greek Orthodox Church, Oakmont where an additional visitation will take place at 10 am prior to the funeral service.  Interment will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery. 

Memorial contributions may be made to the Pan Ikarian Scholarship Fund.
