One of the three $1 million winning Powerball tickets in Pennsylvania was sold in Butler County, the Pennsylvania Lottery confirmed Thursday afternoon.

The winning ticket, which matched the first five numbers but missed the Powerball number, was sold at the Planet Mart convenience store near Saxonsburg, according to the lottery.

The other two $1 million winning Powerball tickets in Pennsylvania were sold in Altoona and Montgomery County. Lottery officials said they would not know the identities of the winners until they come forward and claim their prize by calling them at 717-702-8146. They each have one year to claim their winnings.

The winning numbers for Wednesday night’s drawing were 05-16-22-23-29 with the red Powerball 06.

I know this place well....we used to stop there every Sunday after church when I was growing up. And I still drve by it frequently when I drive to my parents home. Sure wish I had stopped in!
