The fundraiser is being held until 4 p.m. The goal is to raise $500 to support pediatric cancer research.

The Oakmont is holding an "Alex's Lemonade Stand" fundraiser today until 4 p.m. The location is 324 Hulton Road.

Alex's Lemonade Stand is an organization named after Alexandra Scott, who at 4 years old, opened up a lemonade stand to raise money to benefit children with cancer—like herself. She died in 2004 at the age of 8.

The organization has continued to raise money and awareness of childhood cancer causes, primarily research into new treatments and cures.
