Annual Street Sale in Oakmont Promises Tons of Entertainment

The Oakmont Chamber of Commerce Annual Street Sale will be held on Saturday, July 30, along Allegheny River Boulevard.

The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Those who attend will enjoy shopping, food, children activities and more. Vendor maps and information will be available at the chamber's booth.

The street sale will be held in conjunction with the Fourth Annual Custom and Antique Car cruise. Visitors will vote for their favorite cars, and the top two cars will receive a $50 prize.

A Chinese auction will be held at the Citizen Bank parking lot. Drawings begin at 3 p.m.

Entertainment includes games, a moon walk, face painting, music, photos with the Pittsburgh Zoo and PPG Aquarium Shark and Polar Bear mascots, balloon animals, a dunk tank and a chalk artist.

Portable restrooms will be located at the corner of the boulevard and Maryland Avenue.
