Showhouse Showdown pits two experts against each other in competition to design the best model home. Members of the community where the show is being filmed will act as judges and get to pick the winning look.

The two participating townhomes, which are next door to each other, will be open to the public on Sept. 11 from noon to 3:15 p.m. The first 100 visitors will have the opportunity to serve as judges to vote on the winning design. Everyone who attends will be able to tour the homes and be a part of the show.

Former season four Bachelor Bob Guiney—or Bachelor Bob—will be the series host. He also will be on site.

Jason Corna, broker of record for Edgewater Realty—a joint entity by developer Kacin companies of Murrysville and EQA Landmark Communities of Pittsburgh, said crews have been capturing the progress for months. Sept. 11 will be the last day of filming.

"It's going to be a lot of fun for everyone," he said.
