St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Oakmont is celebrating Mardi Gras with its annual Jambalaya Dinner on Tuesday.
The dinner will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. at the church. Dinner includes jambalaya, cornbread, salad and King cake. The Jambalaya is not too hot (extra hot sauce is available on the tables) but is an authentic New Orleans recipe brought back by the St. Thomas Mission Team—the team has made four mission trips to New Orleans for Hurricane Katrina relief.
The cost is $8 for adults, $6 for children and $25 for a family. For more information, visit www.st-tom.org or call 412-828-9680.
