Here are five events to check out this weekend!

Welcome to the Plum-Oakmont Patch's Weekend Planner!

Got no idea what you'll do this weekend? Patch is coming to the rescue! We've got the best bets for your done-work-outta-here time. Check out our top picks for this weekend to find something for everyone in the family to enjoy.

It's a good idea to have cash ready for these events.

1.
Where?/When?:, 6 p.m. on Friday
Why Go?: The Riverview Raiders will take on Ford City High School this Friday. The JV game will begin at 6 p.m. and the Varsity game will immediately follow. Let's go Raiders! The Athletic Department urges game attendees to visit highschoolsports.net for the latest updates before leaving for an event, as all schedules are subject to change with very little notice.

2.
Where/When: Exhale Yoga, 636 Allegheny River Boulevard in Oakmont, on Saturday
Why Go?:  There will be a Sur Namaskr (101 Sun Salutations) donation class at 9:15 a.m. From noon to 2 p.m., there will be a meet-and-greet with the class instructors.

Where/When: , 10 to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday
Why Go?: In this new class, on six consecutive Saturdays, you will experience Tri Yoga, the flow of dynamic and sustained postures synchronized with breath and focus. Sessions include breathing practices, concentration and meditation. The therapeutic and meditation music of Sri Swamiji accompanies the classes. Feel the difference in one class! The movements your body and mind love to do. Tri Yoga is taught in 35 countries and 33 Centers have been established. All classes are taught by Dr. Cora Fetchko. Beginners are welcome!   
Pricing: Donations accepted.

Where?/When?: , 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday
Why Go?: Inclusive Story Time for Special Needs Kids is held on the fourth Saturday of every month at the Oakmont Carnegie Library. The program is free to the public, no registration necessary and siblings are welcome! This program is for children with special needs, ages 18 and under, and must be accompanied by a caregiver. There will be a themed story every month with snacks, craft and fun.
Pricing: Free.

5.
Where/When: Boyce Park Ski Slopes, noon on Sunday
Why Go?: Boyce Park will host the Mini-Junior Olympics this Sunday. The age categories are 5 to 6, 7 to 8, 9 to 10 and 11 to 12. Medals will be awarded to the winners of the skiing or snowboarding events. There will be separate runs for boys and girls. Proceeds will benefit the Boyce Park Ski Patrol.
Pricing: $5 per entrant
