This weekend is your last chance to attend many holiday events in the area. Here are some of our favorites.

Got no idea what you'll do this weekend? Patch is coming to the rescue! We've got the best bets for your done-work-outta-here time. Check out our top picks for this weekend to find something for everyone in the family to enjoy.

Where/When: Emilia's Garden, 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday
Why Go: The Harmarville-Oakmont Chapter of Women’s Business Network’s next meeting will be at Emilia’s Garden in Cheswick. This group is open to local area women business owners and entrepreneurs seeking networking opportunities with other women to expand their contacts and share ideas to help grow their business. Meetings will be held on the first and third Friday of each month and will include self-marketing, a business presentation by an individual member, table topic and networking.  The chapter is category exclusive so once a business category is filled by a qualified applicant, that category will be closed.

Where/When: Monroeville Mall, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday to Saturday
Why Go?: Bring the kiddos to the Steelers Sideline Store Court this holiday season to visit with the jolly elf himself, Santa Claus. Santa will be taking breaks from 1 to 2 p.m. and 5 to 6 p.m.
Pricing: Visits are free. Photos are at cost with various packages available.

Where?/When?: Comfort Inn, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 5 to 9 p.m. on Thursday through Saturday

Where?/When?: Kennywood Park, 5 to 9 p.m. on Friday to Sunday
Why Go?: Revel in the sparkling spirit of the season! Kennywood opens its gates for a lavish, one-of-a-kind treat featuring spectacular light displays around the lagoon, Christmas carolers, holiday themed rides, delicious holiday foods and visits with Santa Claus! It’s a once-a-year party your family doesn’t want to miss! To purchase admission for Kennywood's Holiday Lights, go to the “tickets and passes” tab at top right side of Kennywood Home Page.
Pricing: Admission is $12.99 per person and parking is free.

Where/When: Penn Hills VFD Station 224, 6:30 to 9 pm. on Saturday and Sunday
Why Go?: The second annual Holiday Train display runs through Jan. 7. Be transformed back to the good old days with this charming display featuring scenes of an old fashioned ball park, fire department and a diner where you are served by a car hop.There is also an interactive play area for children which consists of a wooden train play set and on Saturday evenings, Santa Claus will be there to welcome guests of all ages. Proceeds benefit the Penn Hills Volunteer Fire Department.

Where?/When?: Custom Fit Studios, 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. on Saturday
Why Go?: Want to stay in shape this holiday season? The Custom Fit Studios on Allegheny Avenue is offering Holiday Yoga classes on Saturdays in December.
Pricing: $10.

Where?/When?: Lowes, 10 a.m. on Saturday
Why Go?: It's the final piece of the 2011 Lowe's holiday train. This train e includes stickers and a pullback motor!
Pricing: Free.

Where/When: Penn Hills VFD Station 224, 7 to 9 p.m. on Saturday
Why Go?: Help Santa raise funds for his friends at the Penn Hills VFD Station 224. Proceeds will benefit the Point Breeze Volunteer Fire Association. Pricing: Donations are $5.

Where?/When?: Harrison Hills Park, 1 to 3:30 p.m. on Sunday
Why Go?: Harrison Hills Park will host a Snowshoe Introduction and Hike organized by Venture Outdoors from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Beginners are welcome to join in the event, which will include a snowshoe tutorial, hike and trail lunch. To register, call 412-255-0564 or click here.
Pricing: Registration fees for the event are $15 for Venture Outdoor members, $20 for non-members, and $12 for children.
