Got no idea what you'll do this weekend? Patch is coming to the rescue. We've got the best bets for your done-work-outta-here time. Check out our top picks for this weekend to find something for everyone in the family to enjoy.

Where?/When?: Monroeville Convention Center, Thursday, 4 to 8:30 p.m.
Why Go?: Celebrate Monroeville is an informative and entertaining community event providing area businesses and community resources with a proven opportunity to reach thousands of local residents. Guests can sample the area's restaurants, shop for special deals, watch stage performances and much more! Tickets are available at the door.
Pricing: $8 for adults and $5 for students.

Where/When:, Thursday, 7 p.m.  
Why Go?: The Verona Historical Society meets in the History Room on the third Thursday of each month. Come see how you can get involved.

Where/When: The New Olde Bank Theatre, Friday and Saturday, 8 p.m.
Why Go?: The New Olde Bank Theatre in Verona presents "Six Degrees of Separation." The play is about a young black man who cons a wealthy white couple, turning their lives upside down.

Where/When: , Friday, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Why Go: The Scouting year is fast approaching. Join the cub scouts at the fall kickoff meeting at St. John's. Cub Scouting is a family oriented program designed for boys who are in the grades 1 to 5. Meetings are designed to be fun, encourage growth and teach the 12 core values of scouting.

Where/When: Harrison Hills Environmental Learning Center, Saturday, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Why go?: The workshop will be held in the Environmental Learning Center in Harrison Hills Park. Today’s program will focus on an overview of Solar Energy Systems.
Pricing: $20 per person/ $25 for couples.

Where?/When?: Boyce Park, Saturday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Why Go?: The Civil War Years features a chance to meet President Lincoln, do crafts, hear Civil War era music and see re-enactments.
Pricing: Free.

Why Go: The band "Second Shift" will perform at Zanderz Sports Bar in Palmieri's Restaurant.

Where/When: Boyce Park, Patrol 1 Shelter, Sunday, 11 a.m.
Why Go?: This is a competitve form of land navigation. Participants can bring their own compass or borrow one at the meet.
Pricing: $5 map fee.
