Welcome to the new and improved Get Out Weekend Planner. We recently combined the Grab & Go Kids Planner with Get Out for a one-stop shop for fun weekend planning.

It’s Thursday, and you’ve got no idea what you’ll do for the weekend.

Patch is coming to the rescue. We’ve got the best bets for your done-work-outta-here time. Check out our top picks for this weekend to find something for everyone in the family to enjoy.

Where/When: , Thursday, 1 p.m.
Why Go: Think you have a valuable antique in your home? Mr. Martin Lasher will be at RCAC to appraise your treasures.
Pricing: $5 per item.

Where/When: Michaels, Thursday, 6 to 8 p.m.
Why Go: Children ages 3 and older will make something unique this Father's Day. They can design a duct tape wallet for their fathers while supplies last.

Where/When:, Thursday, 7 p.m.
Why Go?: The Oaks will present one showing of "Coppelia," Bolshoi Ballet, Moscow. The show is about a doll comes to life, love triangles, illusions, doubles; the story of Coppelia is just as intriguing and fanciful today as it was in 1870. For more information about the production, click here.
Pricing: $15 for general admission; and $12 for senior citizens, youths and students.

Why Go?: The band Say Ahhh will perform at Zanderz Sports Bar & Night Club in Palmieri's Restaurant.

Why Go?: St. John's has its blood drive just for the purpose of helping to meet the blood needs for the summer months when most accidents occur. Help spread the word. Donors must be at least 17 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds and be in general good health. Call 412-793-4511 to register.
