Why Go?: Bernadette Manning, a Sister of Charity and professional counselor, will lead the group in this reiki learning experience. This Japanese technique has been used for centuries and has been of benefit in restoring health, enabling cancer patients to endure chemo and radiation treatments, helped pregnant women with safe deliveries and much more. Why Go?: Get a great workout with this fun, Latin-infused exercise class.

Why Go?: Bruce Springsteen's The Promise: The Making of Darkness On the Edge of Town will be screening at the Oaks Theater. The screening is part of the film's limited theatrical run being held exclusively at community-based specialty cinemas as a fundraising event for local non-profit organizations. Both screenings are a fundraiser for the Oakmont Carnegie Library's children's department.
