Welcome to the new and improved Get Out Weekend Planner. We recently combined the Grab & Go Kids Planner with Get Out for a one-stop shop for fun weekend planning.

It’s Thursday, and you’ve got no idea what you’ll do for the weekend.

Patch is coming to the rescue. We’ve got the best bets for your done-work-outta-here time. Check out our top picks for this weekend to find something for everyone in the family to enjoy.

Where?/When?: , Thursday, 5 p.m.
Why Go?: To celebrate Cinco de Mayo. Stop by the bar area at for $3 Coronas and $5 margaritas and appetizers!

Where?/When?: , Friday and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Why Go?: This is the 49th Annual rummage sale. There will be clothing, jewelry, housewares, toys, books, furniture and appliances. Baked goods will be sold from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Where/When: Michael’s in Monroeville, Friday, 6 to 8 p.m.
Why Go: Just in time for Mother’s Day, create something handy for Mom to hold her jewelry. Ages 3 and up can make a clay pot jewelry holder for Mother's Day while supplies last.
Pricing: Participants must buy a clay pot.

Why Go?: welcomes Stuart Woods, a best-selling author, to talk at the Oakmont Carnegie Library. Stuart will be presenting his latest book Bel-Air Dead.

Why Go?: The Garden Club of Oakmont is holding its annual plant sale in the Hoffstot's parking lot. There will be a variety of annuals, perennials, hanging baskets, containers, herbs, lettuce bowls and garden treasurers. There will also be a "from our gardens" booth which provides plant divisions from members' own gardens. All proceeds will benefit civic planting in Oakmont.

Why Go?: Celebrate National Scrapbook Day making gifts for Mom. Create a custom scrapbook page for Mother's Day while supplies last. This program is for ages 14 and up.

Why Go?: To support a great cause! All proceeds will benefit the Sunny Carney Carcinoid Cancert Fund. Starting in May, Lisa Bernardi will be running 300 miles in a variety of races in different cities to raise funds for Sunny’s medical treatments and traveling expenses. She is asking for each mile to be purchased, so Nesbit’s Lanes invites you to help her reach the goal of $81,000 and come bowl for a Sunny Mile.

Why Go?: The Mighty Oak Barrel is having a Kentucky Derby celebration with mint juleps, mojitos and a hat contest!

Why Go?: Lebanon, PA is now playing at the Oaks Theater until May 12.  This Sunday, there will be a brief Q & A with director Ben Hickernell and producer Jason Contino following the 2:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. shows.
