1.
Where/When? , 444 Saint John St. in Plum. Food will be served beginning at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, July 13 to 15. The festival will begin at 7. On Saturday, July 16, the festival will begin at 6 p.m., following the 5 p.m. Mass.
Why Go? The event will feature a variety of food including selections from the Midway Grill, Big Top Diner, snack booth and ice cream stand. There also will be funnel cakes, a selection of baked goods and fresh lemonade. Entertainment at the festival includes bingo, a basket auction, New-to-You Kiddieland, inflatable rides, games for all ages and nightly entertainment.

Where/When: , Thursday, 10 a.m.
Why Go: Kids in kindergarten through sixth grade are invited to hear stories read by teachers. Adults are asked to remain with their children during the program. Register at the library.

Where/When:, Thursday, 6 to 7 p.m.
Why Go?: Children ages 5 and older can come to the library to use their imagination and building skills by playing with Legos. Registration is required.

Where/When? Boyce Park Four Seasons Lodge—675 Old Frankstown Road in Plum—at sunset on Thursday, July 14.
Why Go? "Breakfast at Tiffany's" will be the feature film playing.

5. "Guided Imagery: a Path to Wholeness and Healing"
Where/When? , Saturday, July 16, at 10:30 a.m.
Why Go? Sister Bernadette Manning, a Sister of Charity and professional counselor, will talk about the benefits of guided imagery in your daily life. Research indicates guided imagery can help to: relax, calm, and elevate mood; speed up healing  from surgical wounds; reduce pain and headache; inspire and motivate and much more. 
Pricing: Free, but participants must register by calling the library at 412-828-9532 or at www.oakmontlibrary.org.

Where?/When?: Michaels in Monroeville, Saturday, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Why Go?: Children ages 3 and older will create projects that reflect the United Kingdom. Projects include a crown and shamrock.
Pricing: Free with the purchase of supplies.
