Get Out Weekend Planner: Frankenstein, Footloose and Craft Show

Here are our top five picks for this weekend.

Welcome to the new and improved Get Out Weekend Planner. We recently combined the Grab & Go Kids Planner with the Get Out Planner for a one-stop place for weekend fun.

Why Go?: Frankenstein is a part of National Theatre Live. The performance has been recorded live in HD and will be brought to the cinema to be viewed.

Where/When: Boyce Park, Thursday and Friday, 6 to 8 p.m.
Why Go: People of all ages can learn seed planting techniques concerning annuals, perennials, herbs, grasses and veggies, too.

Why Go: Plum High School presents Footloose, a music full of your favorite classic songs. Read more about the show . Doors open at 6:15 p.m. Check out Riverview's musical, "" if that's more your thing.

Why Go: During Lent, bring your family to the fish fry at the local fire department. Support the department and enjoy a great meal. Fish fries also are available at Holiday Park and Unity fire departments.

Why Go?: The Spring Craft Show will have a wide variety of crafts, goose clothing, homemade chocolates, spring florals and vendors with jewelry, purses, accessories and cooking needs. There will also be adoptable pets from two local shelters.
