Welcome to the new and improved Get Out Weekend Planner. We recently combined the Grab & Go Kids Planner with Get Out for a one-stop shop for fun weekend planning.

Why Go?: This program is presented by UPMC St. Margaret. Michele Reiss, director of Behavioral Science Education at UPMC St. Margaret, will lead the group. The program will explore inspiring stories and lessons on the importance of living and loving well. You will also learn how to cope with the challenges of life-threatening illness or acute grief. Why Go?: Enjoy an Opera in the Cinema! The Barber of Seville Teatro Regio di Parma, Italy is now playing at Oaks Theater. The performance is sung in Italian with English subtitles.

Why Go: First-time walkers will receive a pedometer and T-shirt. The walk will begin at the library and head around the perimeter of the parking lots at the library, community center and apartments. This program is sponsored by the Allegheny County Library Association in partnership with AARP and Highmark PALS program.
