Home Instead Senior Care Collecting Donations for 2nd Annual Yard Sale

The public is invited to donate unwanted items to the Yard Sale for Breast Cancer.

Home Instead Senior Care in Oakmont is currently collecting donations for the second annual Yard Sale for Breast Cancer.

For anyone spring cleaning, Kathy Milberger, human resource director, suggests bringing your unwanted items to the Home Instead Senior Care office at 661 Allegheny Ave., Oakmont.

Donations will be accepted from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday or call 412-517-8337 to make other arrangements.

The yard sale is Friday, April 19 and Saturday, April 20 and benefits breast cancer research.

"This disease has directly affected our office as well as the over 200 caregivers we employ," Milberger said.

Home Instead Senior Care provides caregivers to seniors in Monroeville, Penn Hills, Plum, Oakmont, Verona, Fox Chapel and surrounding areas, helping them stay safe and comfortable in their own homes.
