Hungry? Visit the Annual Greek Food Festival in Oakmont

Get ready for some Greek food and entertainment in Oakmont this weekend!

The annual Greek Food Festival at the Dormition of the Theotokos Greek Orthodox Church on Washington Avenue will be held this weekend, June 28 to 30.

Some of the food sold includes lamb shank, chicken glazed with fruit and honey, gyros, smelts, stuffed grape leaves, honeyballs, baklava, and much more. A menu has been attached to this article.

Band music will be playing throughout the three nights, and the Grecian Odyssey Dancers will perform at around 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. all three nights.

The church bookstore, where patrons can buy a variety of Greek gifts and religious items, also will be open.

Hours of Operation:
Friday, June 28— 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.; dinner will be served from 5 to 9.
Saturday, June 29—4 p.m. to 11 p.m.; dinner will be served from 4 to 9.
Sunday, June 30—2 p.m. to 11 p.m.; dinner will be served from 2 to 9.
The patio grill and bar will be open at all times of the festival.
