Komen Appoints Oakmont Resident to Pittsburgh Board

Mark Schneider was selected to join the board of directors for the Pittsburgh Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

An Oakmont resident was recently appointed to the board of directors of the Pittsburgh Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure for the 2013-2014 fiscal year.

Mark Schneider is director of finance for Heritage Valley Health System

He is a graduate of Duquesne University and received his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license in 1991. Schneider was awarded the Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP) designation in 2005.

In addition to his work as a Race for the Cure volunteer for the Komen Pittsburgh Affiliate, Schneider has also volunteered with the March of Dimes.
