Oakmont Garden Club to Hold Plant Sale

Buy some pretty plants and help out a local organization at the same time!

The Garden club of Oakmont will be holding its annual plant sale on Saturday.

If you're looking for a nice Mother's Day gift, stop by the "From Our Own Gardens" plant sale at the parking lot from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. there will be a wide selection of plants sold—annuals, perrenials, lettuce, heb bowls, hanging baskets and planters.

Any plant donations are welcome up to the day of the sale. Anyone interested in donating should pot their plants and label them with the name, and if they are a sun, shade or partial sun lover. Popsicle sticks (or something similar) and permanent markers work best for plant identification. Donation of pots and unwanted potting soil also will be accepted.
