Oakmont's Kerr Memorial Museum to Host Antique Show

All you antique lovers are in for a treat this weekend!

The in Oakmont will host its eighth annual Antiques Show this weekend.

The Kerr Museum is set in a Victorian, Queen Anne-style home built in 1897 by Dr. Thomas R. Kerr. It is located on Delaware Avenue.

The show will be held on Saturday and Sunday, March 10 and 11, at the . The show will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.

The cost is $10 at the door. Tickets are valid for entry on both days. Dining will be available during show hours, however, only cash will be accepted.

There also will be a preview party on Friday, March 9, from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., for those who want to get a jump-start on the antiques shopping, or just simply support the museum. Tickets for the preview party cost $75 each and include admission to the show on Saturday and Sunday.

The show is managed by Jack Squires and features 25 quality dealers from many states.

Proceeds from the ticket sales will directly benefit the Kerr Memorial Museum’s upkeep, maintenance, and educational programs for local children.
