The Plum Senior Community Center serves seniors in Plum and eastern Allegheny County. In addition to social activities and exercise classes, the center serves as a hub for several meal programs, including Meals on Wheels.

The addition was funded through $300,000 in Housing & Urban Development Economic Development Initiative grants acquired by Congressman Jason Altmire, $250,000 in Community Development Block Grant funds, $250,000 from the Community Infrastructure & Tourism Fund, $40,000 in Pennsylvania Community & Economic Development grants acquired by State Representatives Markosek and Tony DeLuca, and $60,000 in Plum Senior Community Center funds.

“This beautiful addition will enable the Plum Senior Community Center to provide additional services and programs to area seniors,” said Fitzgerald.
