Plum Resident is Crowned Miss Pennsylvania

Juliann Sheldon of Plum will compete in the Miss America Pageant next year.

Plum resident Juliann Sheldon won the Miss Pennsylvania crown on Saturday night.

Her next stop is the Miss America Pageant, which will be held in January 2012 at the Las Vegas Theatre for the Performing Arts in Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino.

Sheldon, 21, is a student at the Point Park School of Communication. She was crowned the Miss Jewel of the West, which made her eligible to compete in the Miss Pennsylvania Scholarship Pageant.
