Senior-Living Community Hosts 'Caregiving & Family' Event
Local expert to provide caregiving advice and tips at Longwood at Oakmont.
Longwood at Oakmont will host an event for caregivers and families on Saturday, May 19.
Jennifer Antkowiak, KDKA-TV anchor and Founder of Jennifer Cares, will be at the Plum Borough continuing care and retirement community to provide caretaking tips for families. The event will be held at 11 a.m. at the ballroom.
Antokowiak will share her personal story with visitors. While caring for her mother and in-laws, Antkowiak has experienced how long- term illness can affect a family. These experiences have fueled her passion to assist caregivers and families, and provide them with the tools to make their lives easier. To read one of her blogs on the issue, click here.
