Several Oakmont Events Announced

Flea market, parent night out and a dance are on the list.

Parents Night Out

is planning a Parents Night Out on Saturday, Jan. 14, from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Parents can drop off their child/children to the PLEC building, located on Fourth Street, next to St. Irenaeus School. For $10 per child, they will be supervised. Parents are asked to provide dinner for children prior to dropping them off or preparing something for them to eat. The school's eighth-graders will donate their time and expertise to provide an entertaining afternoon, filled with a movie, games, and crafts as part of a service project. Adult supervision also will be provided. Proceeds benefit the students and programs at Saint Irenaeus School.

Flea Market & Craft Show

Need to clear out the old to make room for the new? will hold its second annual Flea Market and Craft Show in Blough Hall on Saturday, Feb. 4 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Anyone interested in selling at the flea market can do so for $20. For more information or to reserve a table, call St. Irenaeus School at 412-828-8444. All proceeds benefit the students and programs at Saint Irenaeus School.


Dinner Dance

The fourth annual dinner dance will be held Friday, March 2. The event will feature the Pittsburgh Doo Wop Big Band at the Harmar House. The evening will feature dinner, dancing and Chinese auction. All proceeds will benefit RCAC programs and activities. Call 412-828-1062 to order tickets and for more information.
