St. John the Baptist Festival Starts Wednesday

The festival will run Wednesday through Saturday at the Plum church.

St. John the Baptist Parish in Plum will its Annual Family Festival Wednesday through Saturday on the church grounds.

The event will feature a variety of food including selections from the Midway Grill, Big Top Diner, snack booth and ice cream stand.

There also will be funnel cakes, a selection of baked goods and fresh lemonade.

Entertainment at the festival includes bingo, a basket auction, New-to-You Kiddieland, inflatable rides, games for all ages and nightly entertainment.

There will be nightly raffle drawings. On Wednesday through Friday, there will be a $500 winner and two $100 winners. On Saturday, there will be a $5,000, $2,000 and $1,000 winner.

Festival times

Food will be served beginning at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday through Friday. The festival will begin at 7. On Saturday, the festival will begin at 6 p.m., following the 5 p.m. Mass.

Kiddieland closes at 9:30 p.m. and the festival closes at 10 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday. On Friday and Saturday, Kiddieland closes at 10 p.m. and the festival closes at 10:30 p.m.

The church is at 444 St. John St.
