Forget the 12 days of Christmas, Plum Borough's Sugar Plum Days is offering tons of holiday fun for 10 days this year.
Each year, members of the community can enjoy holiday events throughout different locations in the borough. This year's event begins Wednesday, Dec. 7, and ends Saturday, Dec. 17.
Activities include visits with Santa Claus, sleigh rides, holiday concerts, crafts, performances and more.
Here's a schedule of events:
Wednesday, Dec. 7
7 p.m.—The choirs of will present a Sugar Plum Days Concert at the high school auditorium.
Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 10 and 11
6 to 9 p.m.—There will be a Living Nativity at . The suggested donation is $2 per person for ages 10 and older. The maximum charge is $10.
Sunday, Dec. 11
6 to 7 p.m.—Sunday school and preschool students will perform a children's sing-a-long at and Preschool.
Wednesday, Dec. 14
7:30 p.m.—The Plum Borough Education Association and the will host the Sugar Plum Days kickoff event and Christmas tree lighting. Other events will include Kids' Christmas Karaoke and Sing-a-Long, crafts and ornaments for children, a visit from Santa and holiday refreshments.
The senior center also is a Toys-for-Tots drop off location throughout Sugar Plum Days. Anyone interested is encouraged to bring an unwrapped toy to donate.
Thursday, Dec. 15
7 to 7:30 p.m.—Upstreet Kidz Theatre at will present KidzSTUF!, a Nickelodeon-style production focused on the core virtue of "Generosity, making someone's day by giving something away." All children will receive a treat bag.
Friday, Dec. 16
6 to 9 p.m.—There will be sleigh rides, a bonfire and refreshments at the .
7 to 10 p.m.—There will be refreshments, entertainment, musical entertainment and a visit by the Frownie Brownie at the Carpenter Log House, which is located on Pierson Run Road.
7 to 10 p.m.—There will be train displays by the Hedeen and Wehrle families and by T.R.A.I.NTrak, face painting and crafts for children at the . Cast a vote for your favorite gingerbread house, visit with Santa, or browse the Plum Elementary School Coloring Contest display.
7 to 9 p.m.—YMCA Little Learners Child Care, YMCA School of Dance and the Adlai Singers will perform at the . Refreshments will be served.
7 to 10 p.m.—The Dojonovic family of Fiesta Drive is inviting the community to take a walk through their .
Saturday, Dec. 17
11 a.m. to 1 p.m.—You can have lunch with Santa at the . The cost is $5 per child. Call 412-793-4411 to register.
1 to 5 p.m.—There will be craft activities for children and teens at the . Mrs. Claus will visit from 2 to 4 p.m.
1 to 5 p.m. There will be musical entertainment, crafts and visits from Santa Claus and Wendy from Wendy's Restaurant at the Carpenter Log House. Wendy will distribute coupons. The Carpenter Log House is on Pierson Run Road.

A free school bus shuttle service will be available from 1 to 5 p.m. to transport people to and from the Carpenter Log House, the library, the senior center and the borough building.
