Summer Food Service Program for Kids Offered in Verona

The Allegheny County Department of Human Services will operate SummerFood, a free breakfast, lunch and recreation program for children and youths ages 18 and younger in economically disadvantaged communities, from June 17 through Aug. 9.

Nutritious meals for children will be available on weekdays for all children at Verona United Presbyterian Church, 566 South Ave. in Verona. Breakfast will be available from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. and lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The program serves children in the Riverview School District.
