The Twin Boros Health Ministries Needs Your Help

The Twin Boros Health Ministries is in dire need of seasonal items to restock their dwindling supplies.

It's the holiday season, and the Twin Boros Health Ministries is in need of food, clothes and toys to distribute to less fortunate families in the Oakmont, Verona and Penn Hills area.

According to the program’s director, Shirley Davis, the most needed supplies are:

Peanut butter, cereals, tuna fish, ravioli or spaghetti and meatballs (in cans), toilet paper, tooth paste, sugar, shampoos, dish soaps, body soaps, laundry soaps, soups (canned or packaged), pancake mix, Jello and cake mixes.

The health ministries also is accepting $10 gift cards, which would be used by Twin Boros Health  Ministry Officials to purchase meats and other perishable foods for the holidays.

Also needed are children’s and adult’s winter clothing of all sizes.

Anyone interested in dropping off items can do so on the upper porch of the Center Avenue side of the Verona United Methodist Church—located at the intersection of Center and Herron avenues. Items also can be dropped off at the , 736 East Railroad Ave.
