Follow the (Yellow) Brick Road to The Oaks Theater

The Oakmont movie theater will hold a special sing-a-long screening of "The Wizard of Oz."

On Saturday, The Oaks Theater will be taking visitors somewhere over the rainbow during a special sing-a-long screening of "The Wizard of Oz."

The screening begins at 3 p.m. on Nov. 10. Special guest Elaine Horn, a nationally renowned Judy Garland impressionist sanctioned by Warner Bros. and the Garland family to recreate the character of Dorothy for special events around the country, will be in attendance to provide an introduction to the film, and to lead the sing-a-long.

Horn will be available for photos and autographs. She also will judge the Oz costume contest. Visitors are encouraged to wear their best Dorothy or Oz-themed costume to the screening for a chance at winning a special prize.
