The bridge that carries Plum Street over Plum Creek in Oakmont/Penn Hills reopened on Wednesday.
The bridge, which had been rated structurally deficient, was closed for repairs since April. The $1.2 million repair project that involved replacing the bridge deck, strip seal dams, sidewalk and parapets, substructure repairs, spot/zone painting, milling and overlay on the approaches and other improvements.
