Bear Cub Stops at Pittsburgh Mills Sears

The bear wandered into the store Saturday while frightened patrons fled.

Pittsburgh is expecting the Cubs—for a three-game series against the Pirates starting Monday.

But it wasn't one of the Chicago Cubs spotted in the electronics department of the Sears store at Pittsburgh Mills about 9 p.m. on Saturday.

A baby bear roamed through Sears for about 10 minutes, and then was chased into a double door at one of the entrances, according to the Valley News Dispatch. The store was evacuated.

The Pennsylvania Game Commission sent officers to the mall to likely tranquilize the bear. Once contained, the bear will be relocated, the Valley News Dispatch reported.
