Bella One Florist in Plum Celebrates Grand Opening with Ribbon Cutting

The Plum Chamber of Commerce welcomed the newest Plum business.

Several members of the Plum business community took time to smell the roses—literally—on Thursday as they welcomed the town's newest business owner.

The Plum Chamber of Commerce held a special after-hours event at Bella One Florist on Unity Center Road. Mayor Rich Hrivnak and many business owners were in attendance for the store's grand opening ribbon cutting ceremony—the chamber's second-ever.

Owner Judy Lagrotteria is a former Plum native—she went to school at St. John the Baptist School and through the Plum School District. Lagrotteria moved to eastern Pennsylvania and moved back to Plum in July to be with family.

Lagrotteria owned her own business in eastern Pennsylvania, and began working on opening Bella One just one month after coming back to her hometown. The store officially opened in the Unity Center Plaza in October.

Chamber board member Geetika Tandon said Lagrotteria already has been a very active business owner in the Plum community during her short time back.

Lagrotteria, dressed the part in a purple outfit, thanked everyone in attendance for the warm welcome and sent guests home with a flower.
