Former D's Six Pax & Dogz to Celebrate Official Opening Under New Name

Come celebrate Father's Day with Pittsburgh Dad.

Dad's Pub & Grub in Monroeville, formerly a D's Six Pax & Dogz, will celebrate the official opening of the restaurant under its new name on Father's Day.

The event from 1 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, June 16, will include food and beverage specials, live music, games for the kids and an appearance from Youtube sensation Pittsburgh Dad

Dad’s Pub & Grub opened on April 1 of this year, and is the reinvention of what was formerly D’s Six Pax & Dogz Monroeville location. The change came under new ownership by Dan Hadley, Steve McKelvey and Erich Faas.

“Dad’s is a place where you can come to have a delicious, unique beer, and also bring your family and have a great time,” Hadley said. “We set out to create an atmosphere that would be fun for the whole family and be a relaxed, casual atmosphere.”

Like D’s before, Dad’s touts a selection of more than 40 brews on tap and even more craft beer selections to grab for home. The menu offers up American classics including hot dog options and other bar-time favorites.
