Rita's Italian Ice is giving away a free regular size to all customers for the first day of spring.
Head over to the Rita's Italian Ice on Golden Mile Highway—near the Plum/Monroeville border—for a free Italian ice on Tuesday.
All Rita's locations are celebrating the first day of spring by giving away a free regular ice to all customers from noon to 9 p.m.

The tradition has been ongoing for more than 19 years, according to the Rita's Italian Ice website. In 2011, more than 1.2 million cups of Italian ice were given away in a ten hour period.
