It's Time to Celebrate Oakmont

Local residents can enjoy what community businesses have to offer during the Oakmont Chamber of Commerce's Celebrate Oakmont event.

The chamber expo will be held on from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 12, at the on Washington Avenue.

There will be door prizes, food, entertainment and more festivities. The cost is $10 per ticket purchased in advance.

Here's what attendees can look forward to:

• Local Author Sam Sestak will be signing her new book, Darkness Obliged
• Local Author Kathleen Shoop will be signing her new book, The Last Letter
• Oakmont Chamber Members will be cooking up some signature dishes for attendees to taste
• Musical Performances by Marlene EnDean
• Dana Brown, Executive Director for the Pennsylvania Center for Women and Politics, will be on hand
• Grand Raffle winners will be announced at 8 p.m. for Basket of Cheer, Lottery Tree, and Dinner on Us. Door prizes will be raffled off every 15 minutes.
