Nowalk Daily Grind to Close

The business along Route 286 and its sister store in Penn Hills is closing.

A Plum coffee and pizza shop is closing its doors after three years.

The Nowalk Daily Grind on Abers Creek Road along Route 286 no longer will be serving its well-known doughnuts, pizza and coffee.

According to the Plum Advance Leader, the Holiday Park Volunteer Fire Department—it owns the property—has terminated the lease of owner Keith Nowalk, a Plum councilman, because he has not been able to pay the $2,600 monthly rent.
