Businesses along Allegheny River Boulevard are open despite road construction.
Currently, bricks are being replaced on a section of the road between Maryland Avenue and the Wine & Spirits store. Businesses on the block--including Yarns by Design, Traditions, Bernie's Flower Shop and Home & the Holidays--are open.

The contractor will be moving to the 500 block of ARB next week.
Motorists should expect parking restrictions and shifting traffic patterns.
