Panera, Oakmont Bakery Support Autism Awareness with Cookies

The two establishments in Oakmont will be selling cookies for Autism Awareness Month.

If you're craving cookies, you can buy some at or to benefit a good cause.

Both establishments are selling cookies in honor of Autism Awareness Month and donating proceeds to local charities.

Panera will be selling "Pieces of Hope for Autism" shortbread cookies shaped in the autism puzzle piece logo from Friday, April 13, to Sunday, April 22. All proceeds will benefit The Autism Center of Pittsburgh.

The Oakmont Bakery also will be selling puzzle-shaped M&M cookies. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Watson Institute, a Sewickley-based school for children with special needs. The promotion is running until the end of the month.
