This week’s restaurant spotlight is on Carnivores, located at 215 Allegheny Avenue in Oakmont
A local sports bar and popular hangout for more than 15 years, Carnivores offers a wide selection of menu items including appetizers, soups, salads, pizza, sandwiches, stone-baked hoagies, wings and burgers.
The bar has a large selection of beer, imports, crafts and microbrews. In addition to flat screen televisions, the indoor seating includes a big-screen TV for sports viewing.

The booths also include flat-screen TVs that customers are able to control.
In the warmer months, patrons can head through the open garage doors to the large outdoor patio.

In the fall, the restaurant also will sponsor a co-ed bowling league at Fun Fest in Harmarville.
Carnivores also was a Patch 2012 Readers Choice Award winner for Best Pizza.
