Trade In Old Holiday Lights For LEDs

The deal at Home Depot runs through Wednesday.

A number of Plum-Oakmont residents took advantage of the weekend's warm weather and put up their holiday light displays.

But did any of you find broken light sets while you were getting into the Christmas spirit?

You may want to know about the deal Home Depot has going on through Wednesday, Nov. 14.

Customers can bring in their old working or non-working Christmas light strings to be recycled and receive coupons from $3 to $5 off the purchase of energy efficient seasonal LED string lights.

The Home Depot stores closest to Plum, Oakmont and Verona are the ones in East Liberty—400 North Highland Ave.—and in Wilkins Township—3550 William Penn Highway (Route 22).
