Area Bus Schedules to Change on March 25

Port Authority bus routes in the Plum, Oakmont and Verona area will change next week.

Commuters who take the 78 Oakmont, P78 Oakmont Flyer and the P16 Penn Hills Flyer might see a change in their service times.

Schedules for approximately 60 bus and T routes will be adjusted on Sunday, March 25. Port Authority of Allegheny County routinely adjusts schedules four times per year.

The inbound Route 78 Oakmont trips departing Harmar at 9:14 a.m. and 10:14 a.m. will now depart five minutes earlier at 9:09 a.m. and 10:09 a.m.

The entire P78 Oakmont Flyer schedule has been revised. The outbound trip departing Downtown Pittsburgh at 6:45 a.m. is discontinued.

The entire P16 Penn Hills Flyer schedule, which services a portion of Oakmont and Plum, will be revised. Service between Harmar, Hulton Arbors and Downtown Pittsburgh is reduced. Most trips will begin on Monroeville-Trestle Road at Saltsburg Road in Plum.

March 25 also will bring the opening of the to the North Shore and reconstructed Gateway Station.
