With "Start Again," Deasy presents 11 new songs, produced by Chris Parker, that summon faint--and not so faint--strands of the songwriter's heroes: Jackson Browne, Bruce Springsteen, Alex Chilton, John Hiatt, Rickie Lee Jones, Neil Young and Van Morrison.

Fans will recognize Deasy for "Good Things are Happening," a song he co-wrote on a trip to Nashville, became the long-running theme for Good Morning America on ABC for which he appeared in the promo spots. Deasy is also credited with the Emmy Award-winning “Your Home” Campaign for KDKA-TV in Pittsburgh.

Deasy has written for other artists, too, including Martina McBride and Billy Ray Cyrus, in addition to collaborating on songs with the likes of Howard Jones, the Clarks and Maia Sharp.

He was selected as one of Pittsburgh Magazine’s “25 Most Beautiful People” in 2005, which recognizes people who make an impact on the city. In 2008, he was included in the book “Pittsburgh Born, Pittsburgh Bred” as one of 500 of the most memorable Pittsburghers from the past 250 years.

In 2006, he became a published author with the release of "Ransom Seaborn," which won the Golden Needle Award and is currently being adapted for film with Deasy writing the screenplay. "Traveling Clothes" followed in 2009 and "Ghost Tree" in 2010.

Tickets to the show are $15 and available at www.showclix.com/event/startagain or by contacting Paula Tomlinson at atpp2tom@gmail.com.
