Construction Alerts for Oakmont

Roadwork on Allegheny River Boulevard and Allegheny Avenue in Oakmont will begin this week.

The construction might affect traffic patterns. Here's a look at the work going on:

Tuesday, May 1, through Friday, May 4—The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation will be repairing portions of Allegheny Avenue. Expect delays between Pennsylvania Avenue and on Allegheny Avenue. 

Monday May 7 through beginning of July—Brick work will begin on Allegheny River Boulevard and will take about 60 days to complete. There are two sections of the boulevard that will be affected. Parking will be limited. 

• From to , it will be two lane traffic with no parking on either side.
• From to , it will be two lane traffic with no parking on either side.

It is important that while the construction is occurring that you obey all posted signs and be on alert while in the two construction zones. Parking is available on Allegheny Avenue, other sections of Allegheny River Boulevard that are not listed above, and the parking lot.
