Freeport Road Short-Term Single Lane Traffic to Occur Thursday and Friday in Harmar

Here is a traffic update.

Short-term single lane alternating use traffic on the bridge that carries Freeport Road over Barge Basin (Guys/Campbells Run) in Harmar will occur on Thursday and Friday, Aug. 9 and 10, weather permitting.

Restrictions will occur as needed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days in the bridge area between the Hulton Bridge (which carries traffic from Oakmont to Harmar) and Guys Run Road. Crews will be placing concrete.

About 11,098 vehicles use this bridge on an average day. Motorists should be prepared for stop conditions and allow extra time when traveling through the area.
