Imagine—10 Years Since Sept. 11, 2001

Riverview High School students honor Sept. 11 with an assembly, a song tribute and poems.

students honored the 10th anniversary of Sept. 11, 2001 this past week.

Students wrote poems and reflections the day that changed American History for their generation.

On Friday, the entire school gathered in the gym for a memorial assembly. The band played the Star Spangled Banner, and senior Justin Lezark—he has committed to serving the U.S. Air Force after graduation—led the school in the Pledge of Allegiance.

Junior Chelle Rea performed an acoustic version of John Lennon's "Imagine" for her peers and teachers.
