Landslide Slows Parkway Traffic, Lane Closed Near Squirrel Hill Tunnel

Watch out for traffic on your way home.

The Parkway East (I-376) approaching the Squirrel Hill Tunnel is currently reduced to a single lane inbound after a landslide.

The landslide caused downed trees and occurred around 9:30 a.m. this morning near the tunnel entrance.

The single, right lane closure is expected to remain in place for several hours while geotechnical engineers assess the hillside and crews complete debris removal.
